Confident is the first impression one would get from Adrien, he speaks his words with a heavy belief in what he has to say and is never one to second guess himself. This does not mean however, that he is stubborn in his ways, he is always willing to learn and change his views if convinced to. Despite his willingness to grow and learn, Adrien can appear rather vain to those he has just met due to his tendency to mention that he is in fact very good at the things he does.
A friendly soul, one who's laugh could only be described as hearty. Everything he does, he does with his heart in it. This has proven him to be rather tenacious with tasks handed to him, not willing to give up until done right. He can be a pushover when it comes to making people happy, especially those he feels a bond to.

As friendly, welcoming and hearty as Adrien may be, he can be rather closed off about his personal life when it comes to speaking about himself. Knowing Adrien for years of his life wouldn't change the fact that he will withhold information about himself unless directly asked about it. This isn't a matter of distrust, but rather his understanding that his past isn't so important that he should speak of it if unasked to. This makes him seem rather secretive or distant towards those who do not know him well and he has often been told that he needs to open up more.

He is mature to a point, tolerant of those younger than him and sometimes to those older. Adrien acts as an older brother to those who are comfortable receiving his affections (not so much romantic, but just his good will in general). He loves to help others prosper, and despite the fact that aside from cooking he's not quite skilled in much at all, he is more than willing to try and learn if it made someone else the slightest bit more happy.
Adrien can come off as very artificial, considering it’s a very rare occurrence to find him more than slightly irritated. It’s not that he is incapable of feeling angry or upset, but he has always felt that as an older brother he should tolerate those feelings. This leads to him bottling up his emotions and inevitably blowing up at the smallest thing. When it comes to the tipping point, he becomes rather silent and a lot more strict with his words, they are spoken sharply and in short concise sentences. It’s hard to feel as though his words have a lot of thought or feeling in them otherwise and thus he gets dumped/ditched very often. :’)

I hope this letter finds you well. I'm writing in hopes of having the privilege of being a part of your important project.

My name is Adrien Croix of Seoshuu and I am a professional chef of a restaurant founded in the largest city of our continent. The restaurant may not a famous one, but I pride myself on my ability as a chef. I’ve known of foods my whole life and can guarantee only the finest of cuisine with the ingredients given to me. As I am a family man, I believe in my ability to not only be a liable part of your project, but also to bring heart to this new community. Although I love my home city and my family, I find it rather bland as a chef. It is not often I am able to experiment with new ingredients and I'm hoping to find the opportunity to on Umeojin Island.

I promise you results and a hard worker. I am capable with those younger than myself and am well versed in socializing. I feel that I am fit for this project and I hope that you feel the same.

F U L L H I S T O R Y

Born in the largest city in Seoshuu, Adrien was the oldest son of a family of 6 children. As the oldest he was often in charge of taking care of his younger siblings, not that he minded so much. He understood that his parents were working hard to sustain their living and he himself was rather fond of his younger siblings.

As the caretaker of his younger siblings, Adrien often found himself cooking. He felt a sense of pride whenever they ate his cooking so heartedly and soon found himself wanting to pursue it further. During his later teen years he found himself a job as a waiter at a local restaurant near his home. His time working there taught him much about socializing and even more about cooking.

Honing his abilities at home as his family's cook, Adrien soon found himself a place in the kitchen of the restaurant his worked in. By the age of 22, he had made himself a name as the restaurant's finest chef and was anointed the head of the kitchen. During his spare time he often made strange meals with leftovers as an experimentation to what he could possibly achieve, some days they were greatly successful, other days it tasted like dirty socks, but every day was something new and exciting.

As much as he loved his city, his job and his life with his family, Adrien found himself spending nights longing for more… more knowledge, more ingredients, more people. He longed for the unknown and only dreamed of what he would be capable of cooking with it.

When the news of Umeojin reached him, a spark of curiosity lit in his heart. He had every intention to board this project and nothing in the world could make him feel otherwise. Having been born in large family, in a largely populated area, Adrien felt excited to be able to have an open space of his own. It wasn’t often that he could hear the sound of crickets, or the wind gently brushing through the tall grass of an open field. Umeojin was a new experience that Adrien would never want to pass up.

You will often find him making weird concoctions of food with strange and unfamiliar things he found and then proceeding to gag not long after tasting it.
Has been dumped about 3 times for the same reason; ‘Do you even really like me’
Adrien is NOT a morning person in the slightest, he can seem rather cranky or just generally out of it in the wee hours of the early morning
Extremely doting on his twin sisters.
Doesn't seem to have much interest in romance and the like, has gone out with a handful of people but his feelings never seem to grow or change.
He really likes apples.
