I admire that you got so much detail (and kept it consistent) in just the test cycle, boy howdy. Anatomy and movement look pretty solid, but I would personally avoid having the front and hind feet leave the ground at the same time for each step forward. Doesn't really convey the creature having any weight, and this dragon looks pretty big and heavy just from the preview. I'm comparing this walk cycle to a dog, and dogs lead with the back leg when they take a step , so maybe you could have the rear foot leave the ground a few frames before the front paws?
Also there seems to be a point, in the back legs, where both of them are off the ground at the same time. idk how much you've edited this since you submitted it but just thought I'd put in my two cents
also the wings stay in the same spot as if the shoulders aren't shifting with each step
okay I'll shut up now

Since it's been 4 years there is little to no chance I will go back and fix this particular cycle, but thank you for all the advice anyways!

Very nice! Excellent smooth movement on the legs and wings! The head issue's been addressed, but I think there's something a little off about the tail too. I think it's not quite having the followthrough effect it should- it looks like it's moving on its own rather than its movement being created by the hips, particularly in the middle of the tail.
Agree, can't wait to see it finished!

I actually think this is very well done. You seem to have a good knowledge of anatomy, and dragons are always brilliant.

Very nicely done! The only critique I would make is that having both sets of legs/feet leave and rejoin the floor in unison gives him an almost 'row boat' movement. Most animals set their hind foot down before removing the forefoot from the floor. As for his head, remember to bring it forward and down when his front legs are extended such as when he is about to set his foot on the ground.
I can't wait to see this finished

I already fixed the head and will try to work out something with the legs without having to redraw too much c:

Looks very good! I love how the wings move at each step and the smoothness of the whole, can't wait to see this finished!

yeah the more i think about it i think if you kept the neck the same and the skull still it would work great. like i don't like how his nose jerks up and down.

I hope i was clear, its hard to explain lol i love how the head moves back and forth with the movement of the neck but how his head seems to look up and then down in a jerky motion like hes nodding 'yes' is the motion im pointing out. lol im bad at explinations
your animation is just amazing though i so love it!

im no expert at dragon walking anatomy but if i had to say something it would be i do not think his head would move as much as it does. I believe his neck would act more as a shock absorber type deal and he would keep his head more or less level and still. maybe some movement, but it would be slight. not as exaggerated as it is here. only my opinion, not a professional opinion so take it with a grain of salt.
other than that, this looks frekkin amazing and im mesmerized i love to watch it!
