Following a container load when the driver hit a particularly sharp dip in the road....the container separated from the trailer. It landed a bit sideways but the driver got it safely stopped. I pulled behind to check the situation (my job on the road) he exclaimed βHow did that happen?β I could see the locks were not turned to secure the container. I showed him that. He said βNever happened before. I never lock them.β He was issued a citation for Failure to Secure Load. Judge nailed him for 1000 dollars US after seeing his explanation on video.
