“Will you go penguin-sledding with me?”
Even as an adult, Aang never stopped enjoying penguin-sledding once in a while.
My headcanon is that Aang as an adult has offered Katara at least once to go penguin-sledding hehehehe OTP FOR LIFE
This has been a very experimental piece. Used some different color techniques and tried to use perspective on the hand.
Also, I just love adult Aang. ROCKING THE BEARD

holy crap.
i just had one of those moments where i looked at his hand in the picture, and then his eyes in the picture, and for just a moment, i had the strongest desire to be a fictional character.
i'm not sure whether to be mad at you or in complete awe of you for creating something so beautiful. kind of stuck somewhere between both.
but seriously, from the kid we saw in A:TLA and the adult in LOK, this is exactly what i'd expect him to look like in his early twenties.
and it is GORGEOUS.

He could've MADE IT himself. You can see Tenzin have a staff like that in Legend of Korra, so I guess he knew how to make them.

Good use of perspective, too, if I may comment based on your description. The color bases and everything came out very real and sincere without losing that character that goes with a work of art that is original yet inspired by something else.

Well actually I just used references for the hands, and just really tried to really experiment myself with diferent colorings and lighting effects haha, so sorry, no particular tutorial
