My motivation and inspiration alike have been crud lately, when a friend gave me an interesting idea - redraw some of the first pages from the MLP Project! It sounded interesting, so I thought I'd try it.Looking back I saw so much I did wrong - I blame the fact I wasn't taking it seriously and honestly never intended it to become popular (but that's how things work sometimes). So I redrew the first page with some slight tweeks bearing in mind how much I've changed my style and my superior understanding of storytelling.

This is interesting. How long did it take you to make the original page compared to the new one? Would you say you're both faster and better now, or just better?

Old page took me less than fifteen minutes. This one took me about... an hour or two? I forget.... hm.

It baffles me every time I see the changing style of an artist over a single comic series. Looking at the redone page and original it definitely shows how much you improved. (The 623 pages under your belt definitely helped with that)

Its cool to get a reference of where you started and how well you create now. Can definitely tell how much you have improved. Hope to see you finish this comic one day. Not trying to pressure you though.

I think it's awesome you're redrawing MLP Project. I read the original and it was fan-freakin'-tastic. I have to ask though, is the entire thing going to be in color this time, or are we still getting some b&w pages? It didn't bother me to have the b&w in there, but I've grown so used to color comics, personally that it's hard for me to really want to get in to a b&w.

I never said there would be a twist ending, what makes you think there'll be a twist ending? For all we know it'll end in the most obvious manner!

Well, Buckshot revealed to be Star-Flare all along was a twist, right? That's why I keep on guessing there'll be a twist ending.
The bigger question is, will the green one-winged pegasus be revealed to have been fully loyal to Harvest... or maybe be a sleeper agent for someone far more sinister?

Just coloring? JUST COLORING!? I re-drew this entirely, changing some of the lines, and switched the background to something more fitting! That is 'just coloring' in the sense that a programmer 'just pushes some buttons'!
(I'm not really being indignant, I just always wanted to do something like that and I rarely get the opportunity)
