Description

In the early 1970's, a younger Natasha Ivanova was recruited into the ranks of the Militaires Sans Frontières Combat Unit (courtesy of a Fulton extraction device, at some point) and was at Mother Base during the Ground Zeroes incident.. Despite being rather inexperienced at that point in her life, she managed to allow both the Big Boss and Kazuhira Miller to escape, but she was seemingly killed in action when a wormhole opened.

Well, as it turns out she was actually in suspended animation, and her body was recovered, and kept under observation for the next six months. Awakening in a facility belonging to the Wardenclyffe Section, a secretive research group affiliated with the United States Government, Natasha was informed that she had a new assignment. She was going to the dimension that wormhole led to, and on the planet designated "Dite" in that dimension, she was to recover research data that the previous team that they sent had gathered, and rescue any survivors. As she was already infected by a life form native to that dimension, which was why she survived her apparent death, she had no choice but to follow these new orders..
