Description
Ah, the power of suggestion. showed me a clip of Ian from the Open Season movies dancing ([link] ), and suddenly this picture was born.Of course I wanted Ian paired off with another hunk, and the only other hunk that I know of in the Open Season movies is Rico the doberman from Open Season 2.
But my, these two would make quite a pair. Rico speaks with a Spanish accent, btw, as if he wasn't cute enough.

My one word of advice is this; take one request at a time. And don't overwhelm yourself with all of them at once. Other than that, I wish you the best of luck.

Just animated ones, or comic ones, too? Major Hartvorm and his goons would feel left out.

No problem my good man. You should do more experimenting like this, with new characters and couples. You really are doing a great job with them.

I have seen the first Open Season, but not the sequals. Those are two interesting characters. Maybe I should watch those just to see them. I watched the link of him dancing from a cake. SEXY!
Rico: Oh come on! Dance for me again!
Ian: But I danced for you ten times already... in a row. I'm getting tired!
Rico: (covers Ian's mouth) Tired? Oh, be serious! With a strong body like this, you can take it. Now dance!

Heh-heh, well, just a little warning about the 2nd one, Ian only has a small part (appears for a little while in the beginning, and has an even smaller part in the end), as does Rico. But its a memorable small part. And from what I know, Rico doesn't appear in the third movie, sadly, though apparently Ian does, soooo yeah.
HAahah, be nice to Ian, Rico! Though maybe you can help him out by dancing with him?
Just hold him up like you're doing now and dance! ROFL!

Just out of curiosity, is Rico a protagonist or an antagonist? I'm beginning to wonder if Blitz and Lance are the only good-guy Dobermans in animation. Of course Lance would probably think he's the *one and only* good-guy Doberman. Would make the animated Doberman convention / contest a bit awkward.
Lance: "What am I doing here among all these bad dogs?!"
Blitz: "HEY!"
Lance: "But you're arrogant, cowardly and obsessive . Doesn't that make you an anti-hero?"
Blitz: "Grrr!"
Buster, Roscoe, Desoto, Alpha: *scowl and roll-eyes, grunting*

MetalExveemon In reply to ToonTorment [2012-05-04 17:05:47 +0000 UTC]
Well, at first Rico is a sort of antagonist, but later on he helps the good guys, so I guess he's overall a protagonist. Sadly his part in the movie is very small, and from what I know, he doesn't appear in Open Season 3, which is actually one of the many reasons I won't ever watch it.
So yeah, Blitz, Lance, and Rico are good doberman (SHUT UP, LANCE!) while Buster, Roscoe, Desoto, and Alpha are bad. So that's 3 to 4, favoring bad. But then again, doberman do make better villains than most other dogs.

LOL Come to think of it, all those bad Dobermans are Disney dogs. I can't believe I forgot to mention Professor Torque and Major Hartvorm. As were the non-speaking Dobes in Bonkers and Quack Pack (the latter somehow wore briefs under their fur before it got singed off).

MetalExveemon In reply to ToonTorment [2012-05-04 17:15:01 +0000 UTC]
Okay, I remember Prof Torque, but Maj... oh wait, that one doberman from the Talespin comic? Yeah, I guess I could include them (I mean why not? Since I plan on making the ADC all anthro-ized. ). And I remember those Dobes - or at least the ones from Quack Pack. I thought it was hilarious they were wearing briefs under their fur.
Do you have any links to the episodes they appear in?

Yep, he's the one! The Houn (ahemcoughNaziDog) officer. And his hunky henchDobes. LOL
No, I have no clue. I've only seen them in montage clips, like Toon Disney's unintentionally disturbing "No Pants Dance" music video.

I'm sure some Google-fu can turn up which eps they appear in. I don't know if they had speaking parts or not. You know, I wonder if any Dobermans appeared in Chip & Dale? It's been ages since I have seen any eps, and I certainly doubt I ever saw all of them.

Not sure if he counts as a Doberman, even though he certainly more resembles one than his namesake breed, but Baron von Rottweiler from Dog City is another bad-guy. I guess it could make sense to be a Doberman and have that last name, since Rottweiler is supposedly one of the breeds Louis Doberman used to create his, but it's a stretch.

Looked up Baron von Rottweiler on youtube. My he's handsome! Tell me, do he and that other handsome dog in the trench coat get into a physical fight? Or are there any bondage scenes? Heh-heh, probably not, and I say that simply because I haven't seen any clips of Dog City in your gallery yet.
π: 0 β©: 1
ToonTorment In reply to MetalExveemon [2012-05-04 17:52:55 +0000 UTC]
LOL Thought you'd like him. They only briefly get into a physical fight in one ep that I can recall. Most of the bondage scenes are collar/leash gags (there are even more dog jokes than Road Rovers), but there are a couple of tying and strapping down scenes.
LOL No clips, but plenty of screens. Check notes.
