Description
A little late but this is how I did Renaissance !

1. First I did a sketch, then colored it and added a simple background.
2. Shading, I made a clipping layer over the color and put it on multiply. I used about 6 colors to shade.
3. Effects, mostly just a ton of gradients on overlay and multiply.
4. Refinement, I drew over most of the character with a watercolor brush.
5. Final effects, I did a bunch more gradients, and added some dust/sparkles.

And that's how I paint just about everything! Next time I stream I'll be sure to do some painting so you guys can see this in action!
