Description This is the eleventh page of a project long-time-in-the-planning, the "chapter 2" sequel to the Rimworld Power Armour Studies I did in the summer of 2020 . Many things came in the way of this project, and after several delays I allowed myself to mostly forget about it until when master Greywind started the Hesters series of commissions. Now, after a long time spent adding details to the semi-fictional colony that would serve as its backdrop, the second chapter of the Power Armour Studies is here, featuring Tiandriel, Imperial Hypatissa and Lady Consul of House Dracondar, and her colony of Eurusium.

Page 11 is the last of the showcase pages and features the Prestige Phoenix Armour from the Prestige Specialist Armours mod. Guinevere, one of Tiandriel's Bucellarii, is modelling. The description is less about the Phoenix Armour and more about Cataphracts in general, and is intended to expand upon the Metoverse interpretation of Rimworld, particularly the state (or lack) of human infrastructure and the human condition of the 56th century, locked in an eternal struggle for survival against the "horrors of the Rim". Next page is going to be a truncated one, intended mostly just to close the comic's narrative and round out the total number of pages to 12.

Comic Transcript:
Cataphract armour is the heaviest of the imperial EMACS and provide heavy firepower and rock-steady defense in a highly mobile and relatively easy-to-maintain package. It is large enough to carry its own microfusion power core, which frees it from all the power capacity concerns of preceding models it replaced. This allows cataphracts to accompany janissaries on extended ground operations.
PRESTIGE PHOENIX ARMOUR worn by Geneviève the purging flame
My own bucellarii often use cataphracts and their variants; Geneviève here is poetry in motion when fighting in her Phoenix Armour.
Although at this point the design is more than a millenia old, the cataphract family of EMACS has proven to be a dependable tool in the imperial arsenal, saving countless lives since the Silence all the way to the present day. While some attempts are being made to replace it, I'd wager that the cataphract will continue to serve us well into the 7th millennium.
Power Armour is the great equaliser in civilisation's struggle against the dangers of the Rim. Let us ever honour them and their wearers.

Tia: And with that showcase, the Power Armour Gala is concluded. I thank you all for coming! ...especially that bald clown for providing us with entertainment. Now let us retire to our quarters and refresh ourselves before the feast.
