For my own DeviantArt page, see: or follow me on Instagram which is much more frequently updated.It took almost 3 months, but we finally reached over 10,000 hits to our gallery! In honor of this grand occasion, I created this piece of art.
I felt like no one really draws old-school Metroid 1 Samus anymore, so I recreated its boxart. Hope you like it!
I had a lot of fun and good practice making this. Maybe I'll do another one when we reach 50k or 100k...
Drawn and colored 100% in Photoshop. The "worn box" effect is a photomanip.

I miss the plain ol' Power Suit sometimes.
I feel the Varia Suit is a bit overrepresented, and I love the shoulder armor on Power more.
As for the art, it looks great!
