First of two colored spreads for my children's book I'm working on in class. Sadly the second painting is terrible and will be reworked hardcore because I set the bar too high with this one. It might actually be the best thing I've made all semester. ><

My story is about leave-no-trace inspired; a girl named Iris who goes to a summer camp picks some flowers for a project, gets scolded for picking too many, then enters a dream sequence and realizes the impact she had. This is the scene where she notices she's shrunk to tinysize and the offending flowers she picked and left on the ground are right there. Maybe you'll see other comps elsewhere... I dunno. Enjoy!
