Description My pencil was skipping again and made me so unmotivated and angry to finish a page for title, that I gave in the to epic song animatics I made in my head and drew Hermes. The brainrot is real and I blame my friend for making that brainrot Epic the musical

As for the drawing I practiced some signs with Hermes and I’m really proud of them even though both are just profanities to the point where I couldn’t write out what the top ones said so this post isn’t placed as mature. I hope I got the signs and their motions right. If I do use Hermes in comic form think I’ll just add a box depending if the character understood or not and for others using signs if they sign well I’ll translate it. Pretty if the character is shit at signing they get nothing because not even Hermes understood and anytime Hermes signs to someone who doesn’t/not familiar or understands he also doesn’t get a translation. Also I’ll be writing in regular dialogue cause translating word from word can be strange with signs. Don’t know if you watched or remember the show Oobi but the reason they used a lot strange sometimes broken dialect is because it’s a direct translation from sign language which is cool but if I tried writing it down it’ll look confusing compared to regular dialogue. Maybe I’ll make it more broken depending of the person like Ares and Percy will understand Hermes like usual dialogue because their so close with him while Raine will be more broken or simple because he left for so long or Viola will be more broken because she’s younger.

I can see both Raine and Viola just trying to talk to him, Viola because she’s a kid and might get mixed up and Raine because he’s not used to it and also probably does not care. Also I’m using American Sign Language because that’s the I’ve been taught and have been learning
