"Hah...! I did it!!"As X would say when he clears a fight in Command Mission, but that immediately came from me when I finished this. ( " ~");
So, this was the other Challenge I did in the midst of my Smash 4 Newcomer Challenge , in which this time I force challenge myself to draw every Smash fighter in the 4th game to the shoulders-up, excluding derivatives, Alts, or transformations of an already established character such as Sheik, ZZS (which both to me still counts as a derivative of their respective selves), Mr. Fit, and the Doc.
So please, don't ask me where they are because I will just tell you (kindly) to check the description I put here, yeah?
Sorry-sorry, lately some occasional repetition has brought me to become rather buggy with the I-Know-Already-Clause. ( ; ^; ) *shame-on-Mew*
Hoo-hah, um... Anywho, I drew each Smasher in order that they appear on the Official Site, so Pit appeared first and everyone else followed suit depending on when Mr. Sakurai posted their release over Miiverse and the like. Oh, except the last few at the end-- which if I may add, I forgot Jigglypuff and had to smush her in last-minute (eek)!)-- who I just decided to add in whatever order past Jr. But we know who they are, right?
And since that means everyone-everyone, I will be drawing some guys I normally would not draw. With that, please don't judge my Ganon's, Falco's, and Douglas' so much. Otherwise, the majority of these are one-shot first-attempts on many new faces (if not, me trying to refresh myself on how to draw someone, like how I wish I could fix Marth but one-shooting was part of the challenge).
That also being said, I started this Challenge around the same time as the Newcomer one, specifically about a year ago. So if you look carefully, you can see the progress of my character styling over bit-of-a-year from the first Pit to the last "Pit". Good comparison, right? ( ' 3');
But golly, what a feat! I'm just glad this finally got done... I think.
Thanks, Mewtwo for messing up my "perfect page-fitting", but we'll see if anything else comes out at me to mess this Challenge around.

[EDIT]: Oh, and before anyone asks again. I stopped this bit up to when Mewtwo was reconfirmed as DLC, everyone else occurred after and I am kinda too lazy to continue building it up. So sorry...!!

It's gotta be his "eyeshadow", it really brings out Falco's eyes.
(Oh and that came from some joke I've seen a bit in Japanese depictions where some artists see the orange in Falco's eyes as eyeshadow, just some teensy thing I was borrowing from!)
Also, Kirby just got a full-body shot because I didn't know where to end him.
As for some of the Pokemon, mostly Pikachu, I can't remember the last time I drew a decent one. His form is so hard for me now, that I cannot grasp his correct form-- mostly because Pokemon seem to need a specific shape and if you don't get it, it's gone.
I never draw Sonic, so his form is self-explanatory. No one should ever ask me to draw that guy, but the questions continue.
I meant to make Yoshi look chubby and youthful, hence his cheeks are exemplified as such.
Oh yeah, and G&W is supposed to be looking upward. So that can be hard to tell with his 2D-self.
Then for Jigglypuff, those half-circles were experimental, and I was going to just leave them out for coloring after having seen how they turned out with pen-- which was not good anyway.
It doesn't really matter, though I will admit nowadays I've been growing too sensitive over critical-comments. Well, it's more of some other ones that I can't explain in a few words, which cause me to lose sleep from overthinking. But I understand what you mean.
I guess what I can mostly answer from that sorta stuff is "I choose to have style like that, everyone's different", but to each their own.

I tend to get sensitive over critisism as well so I don't like making comments like that. Mainly because I tend to feel really guilty after typing them.
It's pretty hard to make an upper-body drawing of Kirby, mainly because he's just a head with hands and feet.
Also on a more or less unrelated note, what do you think of G&W's walk cycle in ssb4? I think he looks really confused, like he's constantly going ''whoa,how,why''. It's like he's still not used to 3D. It's kinda funny and kinda cute ^^

Uhhh, not sure. Judging by his name, you'd think he's a falcon, but we know how that can always be misleading.
So, he beats me!
As for Game-n-Watch, I really like his new walk-cycle. It gives him some sort of liveliness to himself other than some other static-simple walk pattern we always see in grid-like games like his. Plus, as you put it, it does add more to the difference between his dimension and our's, how can be easily adjust to all this depth, right?

I've always had a soft spot for G&W, and I don't know why. I guess it's because he's so different.

Indeed, I like to fighting as him whenever I get the chance.
He's got quite a unique sense, despite his simplicity, and a pretty nifty moveset if you learn to use it right.

Really hard to pick a favorite. Though I have my defaults from other smash games in no particular order: Link, Zelda/Sheik, Pit (and Pitoo), Samus, and Mega Man of course!

I must say, I like some of these depictions from you a lot - Wario had me crack up and I quite like your take on Peach and some of the more cartoonier guys (DK Crew and Mons). Other than that, ya draw all these fellas quite cute!
So who are you likin' at the moment? I'm still quite into Robin and Lily (Asu) while hoppin' on Pac-Man now and then.
Marth seems to be more compelling than Lu-Lu ATM but I need to get better as Peach! Pit is still fine though, I really love his "VICTORY!!"-winning screen - it has me quite in memories and happiness the same as the time I saw it first time during defeating Hades with the cute angel.

This was quite a challenge I've been wanting to put on myself since Brawl's time, but then I decided to actually try it in Smash 4 instead.
But I'm happy to hear most of them look alright, it wasn't easy to make some of the guys I don't usually touch on correctly. But that's what a challenge is all about, messing with your comfort-zones and whatnot, so people should understand my giddy-Ganon for instance.
Ah, game-wise? I've been having just too much fun with Rock, but when I am able to let go of his arm I mostly use Marth as usual. But as more other reaching-out, I have grown fond to play with Mr. Peepers from time-to-time. His flows pretty fun and his projectiles feel pretty nice when they hit properly. I have yet to try (and get, silly Jr.) everyone just yet before I can say anything else.
Well, maybe except for Pit. I feel kinda bad saying this, but I don't feel so hot with his grip in this same. He seems more weighty and focused on power, that I can't feel his flow or sharpness I felt him having in Brawl. But maybe it's just me, the mechanics feel a bit off for me.
Regardless, when I feel it (no Shulk intended~) I still try him out whenever I get the chance.
Charming Mac's also got fantastic flow, I love that-- minus is aerial issues.

I see. I have to admit, Pit felt bit same until I noticed he seemed to complement my aggressive way of playing. He seems to have lost some powerful moves however, but he's rather mean when being so mobile and capable to be always on your face.
Robin was quite difficult to get into, I found him being really sluggish (lousy bookworm needs to work out) and sometimes his moves didn't feel satisfying to land despite "hyped" of. However, I just liked the character so much after reading stuff about his character that I didn't want to give up on maining him. And man, did it pay off! The guy hits like a truck when used well (providind you don't "stale" his Levin Sword Moves) and his spells are really versatile in use. Still sluggish in FFAs all but heh. (Also he has charmed me big-time up too, he might now be my answer to your Marth or Chrom. Must be that nice-guy personality and white, silky hair. )

When I first came to Devi, most people always remarked (and/or criticized) how I always made guys too girly, but that just how my pen works. If you ask a Street Fighter artist to draw a girl, like Chun-Li or Cammy, wouldn't they look slightly muscular and mannish? Nothing wrong with a tinge of one's style into their work, right?
So with that, this is just how I draw the Mario Bros. I personally just wanted to keep a sense of sweetness in their faces is all.

It's a shame that I don't have the money to get Smash 4 at the moment. Then again, I'm a little cautious about my Circle Pad breaking, so there's that. I dunno if I should just wait for the Wii U version to come out, or just say screw it and get the 3DS one. I might end up getting both, anyway.

Really, people just break their Circle Pads because they play in such a rough way. I've been playing Smash on the 3DS for a while, and my Circle Pad's been just dandy-fine. But of course, it's totally up to you whether you choose to get both versions. It's no pressure!

My sister's boyfriend actually used to work at GameStop when he was a teenager (he's in his 20's now). It's a shame, really. I would live at GameStop if I could. ;o; My dad just got out of prison yesterday and he's usually the one buying me my 3DS games. I just don't want to pressure him, so I'm just sitting here impatiently waiting for Christmas. I'm such a bad person. ;-;
