it's hard to believe that i never tried doing a shot to shot remake in 2021 like i did back w my island in the wilderness painting. but at least i do get to do it in 2023, wich wouldve been considerably better than if i did it 2 years earlier. this was the first time i used the 3d shape tool in the program, to make a dock in this case. i could make manmade structures way easier than i could when they have sharp and definite lines rather than nature that dont. i made the mountains bluer bc i think it fit better w the color palette. in each remake paintings at this point i wanted to modify the original painting so i wouldnt exactly copy when there's things i want to add myself rather than trapping myself under what bob ross did.
