I love all the details on this! And how you've worked in all the little bits and pieces on the normal Dialga design so it's still recognizable, but looks MUCH more like something that could actually exist.

I love the work on the head to give it less of a futuristic look and more of a realistic tone.
I didn't like the legendaries as they went on because they looked less.... fleshy? :< I can't explain

I don't think any pokemon is an animal in that sense. Some pokemon just got their inspiration from some real life animals.
Dialga is dragon/steel type pokemon so... That's why the dragonic look

Oh, I thought you moved them upward and turn the neck spines into that cool ridge of fins on the head! Honestly the neck spines on the official art look pretty dumb so I thought it was a good move. I like how you've made them here in the edit, though.
