Behold brethren, the glamorous goblet gal known as Ms. Chalice.I must say, watching the show ended up being more fun than I thought it would be.
Considering the fact that I thought they would be following the video games, I expected to get all the plot from the game in this show, but that wasn’t the case. Instead, I was treated to an episodic, wacky little adventure show with fantastic animation and hilarious sight gags. Though, some of the themes from the game were toned down for the kids, it still delivered on most of it’s expectations for me.
Even got me interested in the next season with a cliffhanger, which I usually don’t like, but they managed to make it interesting enough to warrant revisiting for season 2. With the amount of polish the show seems to have gone through, I would love to see a movie similar to that Hilda movie that Netflix released last year. But till then, I give this show 10 knockouts out of a wallop!
