It is complete! Finished it weeks ago. Was planning on posting it when I had a bigger batch of art completed, but screw it. I've been holding onto this gem for far too long.
Alternate Mega for Venusaur, as I didn't really like the original one.
Based Mega Venusaur X partially on the Godzilla monster Biollante, as I heard that a lot of Gen 1 Pokemon took inspiration from kaiju. The flower is yellow to reference common poisonous flowers, like daffodils. Mixed that with poisonous blue frogs too. Mega Venusaur X's flower has grown so large that it has flattened its body somewhat, a reference to some wonky Gen 1 sprites. It also points forward and kind of has a life of its own.
