Fricken…finally…

Took three weeks of on-off working, but I finally finished this. XD AND IT’S FULLY COLORED. HOLY CRAP.

So here’s the new comic: Connection. No, it has nothing to do with Mission 4, though it does take place during that time period. :3

If you’re wondering what too me so long…..school. Nuff said.
This comic will be like “Gale’s Secret”. Has nothing to do with PMD events/missions, but it contains important story/information/ideas. ^^ I have NO clue how long it’ll be, though. I haven’t planned out the script yet….xD

But here’s the first page. And I’m sure we all recognize that lovely Zoroark.

So here’s what’s going on with this.

Yes, we never got to know Palette. But her “death” (*nudge nudge*) was still tragic and unfair. When I saw what happened, I was pretty sad and I felt bad for her. That by itself wouldn’t have made me want to draw something for her, though, since I never saw much of her and never got to know her. But I thought about how Devonshire KILLED someone INNOCENT, and automatically thought about Solitaire’s deep respect for her leaders. If she found out that he did that….who knows what the hell would happen.

Cause of that, I wanted to include that in my story somehow. :3 I ended up deciding that Sol needed to have known at least one person during her loner-period in the village. And so, this was created~

But now, I’m not sure if this will play a role in the future. It may or may not. We’ll see. :3

Don’t get me wrong. Sol and Palette were never official friends. Solitaire, being the loner she was, never let herself really grow close to Palette, but she liked her.

And if you’re confused as to what lead up to the ending part (with her getting the painting)…basically (for whatever reason. Something probably reminded her), Solitaire remembered their deal and she ventured out into the snow to go see Palette. Not only to get her painting, but to also….“develop that friendship that she never actually put the effort into creating before”, I guess you can say? And why? Because Solitaire is a changed lady, ever since she made the team with Solace. ;3 What do I mean by this? If I ever get to that comic….you’ll see.

Gawd, this is getting long. XD Sorry. But yeah! Poor Sol…not only did she fail her mission, but now someone she knew died. >> What else could go wrong….?

……heh heh…..

And curse that fact that it took me half way through this page to find out Palette’s official nature. XD Curses.

But yeah! I hope you like! XD YOU BETTER. >8C

PS: That thing that Sol is wearing. No, that is NOT a new accessory. ;D That thing is important though....you'll find out more about it in the future.
