u know she never had wings she rode a chariot with her hunting dogs (wolves if im right) and her huntresses with her almost at all times (girls who swore themselves to her swearing off all men) other then that i love it

In some Legends,Artemis uses her chariot. In others, she had large wings. You are completely right about the dogs (they where dogs, not wolves) And in some Legends, she did not have Huntresses that followed her.In others,it was maybe 5 to 6 young girls who pledged themselves to the goddess and where always with her.I remember in the Percy Jackson series, she was told to have Huntresses, but I dont think they where apart of the widely famous Artemis myths, and I think that Rick Riordan just put them in there to add more to his stories.

i know of the myths not just percy jackson series Artemis did have Huntresses of the ones i heard but the most accuret ones always had the huntresses that she could call oppon to protect the humans of eartth do to the fact that the huntresses are demigods from other gods due to the fact she is a maiden for ever

Well,I know she had Huntresses, they where all young girls,as Artemis wanted to be a young girl, not a woman, forever. The Huntresses and Artemis' hunting dogs where with her to both protect her from men who wanted to court her and to protect other young girls. And if the young girl they protected is still a virgin, and willing to be a Huntress, then she too may join the rank. From the many myths I read,Artemis doesnt really like men,and the ones she does like are Men who have sworn off women. There was one, whose name I forgot, and Artemis was very happy about his decision, but Aphrodite was enraged.

Artemis hates men due to the past apperently she fell in love thanks to aphrodite and the man broke her heart since then she hates all men or so i have read

Yea I think that took place after Aphrodite was enraged at Artemis for letting a man swear off women,so she had Eros (or Cupid,in Rome) shoot Artemis and someone else whose name I also forgot.Artemis doesnt hate /all/ men,but she hates most of them.Especially the ones that hunt her Sacred animals. But you have to remember, each Legend has many different versions, and they change, depending on who tells them.technically,we're both right, because there is nothing that proves one Legend to be the right one.

true but she is a greek god so as long as it is greek ledgand it would be ok but the hardest part is knowing the origanal way it was told but that is long lost.

And the Romans changed the stories alot as well.Artemis is now Diana or Diane, one of the two,and she's still a maiden goddess, but of different things.
