it is simply stunning. she looks strong and graceful. You managed to bring beautiful pose, colors and great interpretation. The ligthning from the galaxy and her eyes give the feeling that she knows she's creating something absolutely amazing and she's herself amazed of doing it... Congrats on the DD, it's really well deserved!

The palette is stunning, and the suggestion of motion and creation is ethereal. My favorite part about this piece though, is the chiseled detail of Gaia's anatomy. She is toned and muscular, and her bone structure is natural and feminine. Β I love her sensuality from the diaphragm down to her thighs, and the light plays against the outline of the underlying structures. I could imagine her face being extremely difficult to illustrate (at least it would be for me), but you kept her actual facial features simple but emphasized the lighting and and skin tones/texture. Her gaze is focused. Β Everything from the swirling galaxy, to the beads dancing with her robes is a real treat for the eyes, and inspires feeling and curiosity of the supernatural. A beautiful painting of the living spirit of the Earth itself, ideally represented as a the goddess Gaia, or Gaea as it was oft spelled by the ancient Greeks! I love the way she seems at one not just with the Earth but with the entire galaxy also in this image, that was a splendid touch that I noticed right away (I've an eye for esoteric details!). Very interesting, almost ancient tribal-like attire you've painted the goddess wearing, rather appropriate for a natural spirit of this magnitude. Her hair has many more colors than may seem obvious at first glance, and I love the subtlety of that, and of everything going on in the picture. If I were to describe this painting in one single word, I would have to use the word "Glorious!" to describe it and do it justice by so doing. Exquisite work! Easily one of my favorite goddess images here on DeviantArt.
