This episode would’ve been bad if it was a lily episode by herself, the character I despise in this episode, mixed with Lynn senior a character. I actually like could save this episode, and I’m not gonna lie when I first watch this episode back on the air I was not a fan of it. In fact, I consider it one of the worst of season three at the time. My main reason was, I thought it was boring. Nothing happened. Lily was very annoying and it was very predictable. However, this episode of grew on me the more I watch it and I actually really like this episode nowadays it’s not a great episode. But this is one of those episodes that I don’t hate as much as I used to and trust me there are a few of them this season. Lynn is getting ready for a cow bell at a musical festival. Rita tells him to drop off Lily at daycare before he goes no big deal but it turns out he got a call from the daycare and it turns out one of the babies clog the toilet with a whole diaper yeah babies. Lynn calls Rita back. And ask her to babysit Lily but of course she has work to do and can’t Lynn saw mr. grouse, and offers him to babysit a lily. Of course Mr. grouse refuse since he has no experience with babysitting, and babies doesn’t like him well, that’s opposite with me as babies absolutely love me, but I hate babies. no offense to people who likes babies but it’s true. Lynn offers Mr. grouse five trays of lasagna, Mr. grouse accepts. And Lynn is off to the cowbell festival. Lynn and his friend. Kotaro having fun at the festival Lynn gets a call from Mr. grouse, and Lily is miss behaving. Well, of course she’s misbehaving. She’s a baby so Lynn give some advice to mr. grouse, to help calm Lily down. And it worked. Once Lin returns home, he discovers that Lily and Mr. Krause are getting along, and as promised, Lynn gives Mr. grouse, 5 lasagnas, and Mr. grouse ask Lynn to borrow his sweater for a little bit Lynn accepts, and Mr. grouse leaves. Lily is starting to say that when mr. grouse left. Rita tells Lynn that Lily is just starting to talk. She may recognize him again but unfortunately Lily recognize her mom by saying mama and this cause Lynn to break down like holy crap Lynn it’s not the end of the world calm down. So the next day Lynn decides to skip going to cowbell festival. To watch of Lily and try to win her back. Lynn Sr. tries to appeal to Lily in any way he can, ranging from reading a story, making her food, go to the mall to get presents, and swing on the swing. However, no matter how hard he tries, Lily keeps referring to Mr. Grouse as her "da-da". Despairing that he just lost Lily, Lynn Sr. decides to call up Mr. Grouse if he wants to come over for dinner, and he accepts as long as its lasagna. Where Mr. grouse arrives He didn’t even bother watching Lynn’s sweater. Lily says. da da again Lynn assumes it was Mr. Krause, but it turns out Lily recognize Lynn’s sweater, so that’s why she’s been calling Mr. grouse da da I remember when I first watched it I was so pissed I literally said duh isn’t that so obvious Lynn is happy that Lily recognize him again so this episode definitely grew on me the more I watch it as I didn’t used to like this episode you know this episode reminds me of season 2 of SpongeBob SquarePants dump when Gary leaves SpongeBob for Patrick because of a goddamn cookie, I remember feeling so bad for SpongeBob in that episode, and I still do to this day and dump, is not the greatest episode of SpongeBob, so breaking dad is basically a better version of dump from SpongeBob
