Description

The world has traveled forward. It is rare these days to see swords or bows wielded by the various races. Now, steam engines traverse the land, people travels from here to there, and there are vast frontiers. Centuries ago, the elves and men defeated the orc armies, and a long, though not untroubled peace settled over the country.

The gunslinger Grakth began life in the orcish mines of Nakashy. After years of seeing the hellish life of mining and barely seeing the sun, as well as the state of neglect the mines existed in, Grakth decided to seek his fortune around the wilderness and towns of the vast Heni Steppes. Having learned the rudiments of shooting and practicing constantly in the mines, Grakth was able to quickly establish himself as a useful and proficient gun for hire. The coins he earns he donates to his family and the overall culture in the mines. A strong advocate for orc kind, he does not bear ill-will per se towards other races, but is perhaps too hasty to argue about the 'full benevolence' the human and elf-kinds show to their enemies.
