Even though I don't play video games very much anymore, I still look back fondly at games I played when I was a kid. Back when games with low polygon counts looked incredible and when the characters weren't all just buff, thirty-something year old males with noticeable stubble. Spyro was one of them.

And more than anything else, I think the music and sound effects stuck with me the most. I have the soundtrack on iTunes which I play on a regular basis, but I wish I had some of the sound effects. I loved those damn sound effects. The sound when you crash through a treasure chest full of gems… the Flintstones running feet when Spyro is charging… the taunting “NANANA NA NA!!” the thieves make when chasing after them… Man, I wish I still had my old Playstation...
