Description
This is a view of New York City, looking south along 5th Avenue from the top of the Empire State Building.This is acrylic on canvas, my first attempt at painting in acrylic.

Thank you all for the feedback. I've really fallen for painting in acrylic now. I did 3 last week (see my gallery) and I'm just planning to start a new one now. Not sure exactly what I will paint though. I have thousands of photographs for inspiration though.

For a first attempt this a quite wonderful, and amazing nonetheless. It's rather inspirering how you managed to create such an intricate scene from jsut a few dabs of paint that allow our eyes to form the details. I love the way you presented the light aswell so that the scene almost becomes one of a misty morning. The texture created by the use of acrylic is also rather inticing. Brilliant, well done!
