I was thrilled to see the original design from the novel used for the Jabberwocky! I was worried that the design may have ended up like a bog-standard dragon so I was really psyched to see he wasn't

Wha! I crapped a little! i had opened several pages and was just looking through some sweet Disney-esc art and then dropped the tab to this! I wish the jabberwocky in the movie had that great an effect on me. But, something was lost in the translation, a grittiness. I love that he has hair that LOOKS like it would be musty, stinky, and mud caked. Also the fine details along the back of his neck hint at some unearthly bone and muscle structure that moves this beast. Cheers!

this jabberwocky looks like it was based off the original illustrations of the book. I saw the movie, the jabberwocky scene was so great. This design is very cool,you made him very savage.you beefed him up from the original.

Great pictures, realistic but with a real style, and even with the intense detail you don't loose the looseness, the liveleness which so often happens.

They chaged the face in the movie. Not much, but they did. WHY did they do that?! They changed the faces on almost all of these, yet they were the best imaginable unchanged! He looks SO much scarier here than he does in the movie.
Usually, I say that you shouldn't go against how a character is described in the book. This, though, is even better than the picture in the book. That's a first.

Definitely like this version of the Jabberwock. It's not too "bug-like", as the original illustration was, but just enough so that it's recognizable. Great job!
