Description
This guy is a genetically manipulated prize fighter. It started as a research for an uncommon characterdesign. For my personal stuff i prefer this style where the brushstrokes are still visible, rather than getting too realistic. Funny! Just yesterday I was just thinking about the film "Porco Rosso" by Hayao Miyazaki (who's better known for "Spirited Away")... anyway, the main character is a pig-man, who looks like a bad Warner Bros character in the middle of this amazingly well drawn film. So I was trying to imagine how that character SHOULD have looked, which I no longer need to do because you have already made it! Superb work- a beautifully painted and 100% believable character you have created! Miyazaki should have talked to you first!

That is awesome.
It reminds me a little of Porco Rosso, but it's still so unique. I love the brush strokes and all the little hairs and the simplicity of the background/complexity of the character...

Seriously though, this is great. The lighting is perfect, the brushstrokes are great, and you've pulled of the mix between human and boxer perfectly.

It really looks very realistic. When I saw the thumbnail image, at first I thought it was a photo manipulation.

hey, great job on this, you might want to make the difference in color around his like eyebrows, a little less dramatic, it kindamakes the top of his face look detached from the rest of his head, like a mask almost. other then that though, very good job, I love the look you get looking into his eye.
