this artwork got lost in my folders in 2003, i just reworked the textures. It started as a 5 Min ink-on-paper doodle. it's inspired by david lynch's film "The Elephant Man" and Chris Cunningham's "rubberjohnny". Completely done in Photoshop.FOLLOW ME ON FACEBOOK

I love John Merrick. This is great work, but I'm not fond of the face, not because he's deformed, but because he seems to be old and fat, which I don't think he was. I watched the movie with Anthony Hopkins. Aside from that, I think you did an excellent job. The skin texture, the way he's in the dark and his eyes are glowing. It's very good work.
