And also this kind of earring is essential for the "theme" of gravity and symmetry. And... the hair (la chevelure...) beautifully contributes to the this effect, especially this of the symmetry.

This photograph is quite interesting about the form, more exactly, the composition. There are such two dominant plans or levels here: the upper one (essential) and the lower one (secondary). They form a kind dialectical structure.
The lower level creates the balance - forming a centre and the both equal sides. It formidably meets the accent of the eyes (even of the look, because the expression is rather strong) in the upper level. In other words, the lower level is building gravity, is such a gravitational force; it's a kind of background, of base. The true "action" is been creating by the upper plan. And... quite nothing is happening between! We only guess the nice part of the female torso, but only guess, because it's not "artistic nude". All this area between the beautiful (and "active") face and the quiet ("passive") form of the bottom is almost a "desert". Almost... because you can excellently play with clothes and the nude part of the body.
Classical but interesting work! And, last not least, nice pale colour!...
