Coming back to street photography !!
I was walking in my village and I suddenly heard a gorgeous and wonderful baby's laughing, I just turned round and shot... His mom was pretending to be gone away and finally run towards him... In one second he has been the happiest boy around the world : he had just find his mother again...

so true. so beautifully and magically true. i never understood this michel. i had a very strange childhood, having lost both parents at an early age. life was extreme in many regards and as a result i couldn't understand why anyone would want to bring a child into an uncaring world. however as an adult now, my views of parenting have shifted. i see and appreciate the infusion of "new life" inspired by those of children and young people.
while i have no children and most likely never will, my dogs have this effect on me in a way. i am very close to them, and we run together each and every day of life as part of our routine. i take them on special outings and even to work occasionally. i live a very unique life largely due to meeting my responsibilities for them each day.
