Probably the most awesome bird capture I've seen so far Did you use some kind of electronic "aidies" to capture it or was it pure luck?

And if I am correct that... branch got to be some kind of F-series Nikon?

Yes I sometime use a remote but not necessarily for this one. I did make it happen and will soon write a blog on EARTH-SCRIPTURES's Group [link] on how I get those images from my backyard.
The camera in the picture is a Nikon FM2.

It should also work. They just don't like the sound of the autofocus.

yah i would bet sertenly with some lens like my 50mm 1.8 that thing makes so much noise and it has a hard time focusing but then again i always focus that one manually now
