"Where's Lysa today ?"

"Her sister has insisted she perform some duties in the palace meeting important visitors."

"People come here when it's snowing ?"

"We're in a universe of desert planets." Uta laughs, "Of course everyone wants to come and see the snow if they are able to."

"Well I wish it would warm up."

"You know our cycle around the sun is a rather elliptic and slow, so we've got maybe another ten weeks of this."

"So why don't you ladies wear warm cloaks ?"

"We do sometimes. But we have heaters built into our dresses. Have a feel if you like."

Heinz touches Uta's arms and sure enough the sleeve is warm.

"You graduate soon, so when are you going to see Lysa's father ?"

"Why ?"

"To ask for her hand in marriage of course."

"I'm not sure I want to. She lives in another world here. Even some of your gowns probably cost more than I'd earn in a year."

"Some of them yes. But there's more to life than posh gowns."

"I know. But Lysa lives in a world of posh gowns."

"She moved to the city to leave that world. It was you who brought her back here."

"Well and you. Don't you want to stay living like this ?"

"Well I have to say I do love all the dressing up. I'm not sure I'd enjoy being a maid but being a lady-in-waiting is good fun."

"But I couldn't be married to a countess and her lady-in-waiting."

"Hmm ... good point. But we both want to be your wives."

"I've never understood that. I thought you'd get jealous of each other or have arguments."

"Sometime yes. But we seem to get on well. We've been calling ourselves your harem for ages now."

"I know. It's quite embarrassing when you do it in public."

"I'm sure you like it really. Let me talk to Lysa and we'll see that can be done."
