Once their time on display has ended, the girls are changed out of their expensive gowns into a simpler robe. This one is still anaesthised when she is laid in a metal box.

"So what happens to her now ?"

"We slide the box into the oven where she is cremated, then we gather up her ashes and put them in a vase for her parents to collect."

"How long does it take ?"

"About three hours."

"Does she wake up ?"

"No. She won't feel a thing."
