Well, this is my third and probably final entry for the contest. This one took a loong time to make, to get it where I wanted it.Edit : It has been edited many times, mostly due to some great feedback from users, thanks for that !!!

Her face really reminds me of Keira Knightly for some reason.

That's because it heavily references this image of Keira Knightly as Guinevere . It's a great painting, but I don't know if it will stand up to the rule about not looking like any recognizable actor.

Well, yea it did help with the pose, and certain features in the face and hands, but otherwise, not so much. In my opinion she doesnt look that much like Keira Knightly, not at all in my eyes, but people sure do seem to think so

My Google Fu is strong. "Keira Knightly Guinevere" did the trick. XD
Anyway, I really do feel like this is an excellent painting (love what you did with the lighting!). It's just not modified enough from the source image to satisfy the rules of the contest.

Haha, well, I don't know, because I don't think this painting looks anything like that image, the only thing that resembles that image, is basic lighting, soft of, pose sort of, and some features in her face, so.. I don't think there are any problems here with the rules anyway.

Love it. Love it. Love it. I have to disagree with characterundefined. Yes, the pose is similar but it was used as referenceββa starting point if you will. If you were to superimpose the images, I doubt that they would line up. And, other than the lips, she looks nothing like Keira Knightly. I'd say that she more resembles Jordana Brewster with those eyebrows. Anyway, the fact remains that this is an outstanding illustration, one that inspires me to create my own. Kudos mickehill!
