Wait wait wait, there is a huge flaw here. As said by phone guy in FNaF2; the animatronics can recognize children perfectly fine, it's just adults that they are aggressive towards. The CMC are still children, so the Freddy gang wouldn't hurt them (let alone even trying to catch the three of them). So even though it would still be freakishly scary for the CMC, they technically are perfectly safe.
