Another landscape out of a series I have done. One of the things I love painting more than anything are skies, totally fantasical and impossible skies like the one you see here, with large numbers of colours and swirling, twisting clouds rising up. It started off as just an experimental sky painting, but I liked it soo much, I decided to make it into a scene, complete with mountains and lake.Oil on Canvass, approx 2 1/2 foot by 1 1/2

Nice. That central yellow cloud makes me think of a volcano or some other hot, smoky explosion.
