The third and final big watercolor piece I did this summer, featuring a celestial falling from space.

I've had this concept for a couple of years, the original sketch dates back to 5/5/2020-three years before I completed this. Back then the concept felt too ambitious for my watercolor skills: I lacked precision while painting and was too used to drawing with pen and colored pencil. I felt like I couldn't make a watercolor painting majestic or vibrant enough compared to other watercolor works (I had a bad habit of comparing my art to others and was very self-conscious). This summer, however, I felt my watercolor skills grew enough to attempt painting this. Learning how to blend watercolors, plus using crayons and pen with them helped me fulfill my vision. I hope the result is stellar to all those who see this.
