I used the beautiful Zendaya Maree S. Coleman as a subject for this piece to represent my relationship with my trepidations on an average day. The fears never really seam to disappear but often I can wear them without issue. Allowing them to swim around me without causing a sense of drowning. I recognize that they are a part of me, something that I can use to enhance my day to day life. To me fear is an inherit response to many things and in the most innocent sense, it's our minds natural way of trying to protect us. Unfortunately, the way we all respond to fear often hurts us more than the thing we are afraid of, I'm in no way perfect at controlling all my little fears but this is what I image it looking like when I do.
