Thanks for the tips (: How do you do your blending? Do you set the brush to a low opacity and then paint the new colour over it? I don't know any other methods - if the opacity is 100% it just looks like a horrible clash!

I am using a brush that is pressure sensitive. Hence while the setting of my brush remains to be 100%, the output opacity is determined by the pressure I apply while painting it with my stylus. Though of course sometimes I lower the opacity for better control.
