can u tell me how u put a aniamation on devaint art idk how to put a preview i try but it keeps setting it as picture and when i thinnk i get it it wont let me submit it says it dont like the file or something so do u know what im suposed to do? if u do that would be soooooo helpful

if you want an animated preview you must shrink your gif animation to the size the preview picture must have. Other than that deviantart wonΒ΄t allow you to take it as a preview.

the animation itself should be a gif file. And then you need a normal png or jpeg picture as a preview. I usually take the first frame of the animation as the preview picture. Those preview pic must have a special size, i canΒ΄t remember which but you can see it, if you want to upload it, it will tell you that your pic is too big or too small.

i first drew the frames and saved as a jpeg. Then i put the frames into the animation programm and save it as a gif...
