Probably very surprising to see dragonball fanart from me xD Actually I grew up with the series and it was one of my favourites back then but somehow I stopped watching it when GT came out.
So I just started watching it again when I heard a new season is coming out and got quite addicted to it again. xD
Seriously though, beerus is my most favourite "villain" of all animes I´ve ever watched before xDDD He´s so awesome, I just love his personality and addiction to food x'D

Yes, Beerus is quite cool. I wish it could be slightly more polite/humble with Bulma, but well, for a Toriyama vilain, he's fun. There is room for jokes and talks with him.

oh goodness gracious, watch the first 1-4 episodes and you'll see how terrible it is in comparison. I wasn't a big DB fan until a year ago and even back then I knew how horrible the show had become with that series

He's a rather new character, having his first appearance in the movie "Battle of the Gods" that came out in 2013. He's apparently a fan favorite now, and appears again in both "Resurrection F" and the new series, Dragonball Super.
