Description
As sun rose over the forest, members of the guilds began preparations and construction of the expedition point for the upcoming dungeon exploration, through the uneasy allience with the outcasts, the operation progressed smoothly and steadily forward. Having been assigned as a helper, Alhan has been walking in circles throughout the construction site, looking for their temporary partner. Having spotted someone in the distance, wearing a large cloak, the only piece of description he has received, Alhan slowly approached.

“E-excuse me, are you Nyu? My name is A-Alhan, and I’m suppose to be your partner for th-the day” Having garnered their attention, the figure began to turn around, but Alhan was not ready for what he saw. Burning red pupils placed in eyes darker than a moonless night, rigid skull like skin on the face, and bloodied claws, the sight too much for him to handle.

Or at least, it was the way he perceived it.

For Nyu it was a day like any other, another task to finish quickly and quietly, as she heard someone mumbling something behind her, she turned around to see who was talking. Only for her ears to be pierced by a terrified shriek, followed by someone dropping onto the ground unconscious. She looked in utter confusion at a pale eevee on the ground.

“Oh, I see you two met already” The voice in the distance belonged to Carmenelle, who approached in a lazy and relaxed manner, her eyes met by Nyu’s gaze, asking many silent questions. “The job is dangerous and complex enough we had solo teams pair up for the task. I had nobody else left to give him to so…yeah, try to not give him a heart attack ok? I don’t want Weston on my ass” Having said what she had to say, the smeargle left, not bothering to wait for any potential objections. Looking down at the slowly coming too Alhan, Nyu knew, that it would be a long day."

Decided to try different story telling method for this task, due to lacking the idea to expand the event into a proper chapter. I might do something similar in the future, dividing the events between story progressing chapters, and mission focused tasks. Be sure to let me know what you think of the idea.
