I encountered two Slugpups in my Hunter-Playthrough xD I named them Camouflage and Ghost.I found Cam in Outskirts and Ghost in Shaded Citadelle. Since at first glance it looks like, Ghost doesn't have a face (but he just has really bright eyes) I imagined him being blind xD Which kinda fits since you can't see anything in Shaded anyways xD
I was dropping them off with Moon and since there were Scavengers on my way to her, I headcanon them getting adopted by their Tribe.
