so, i am doing this T-shirt design project for an online buddy. I believe that they will be up for purchase, but I wanted to ask you permission first to use this texture. The image will be of a boy and girl singing into microphones, and I was looking for a lovely, simple texture for her dress and his tie.

that probably depends on the point of view you have.
I don't claim I made the pattern, I just prepared it in a way that deviants could use it for their work.
You could say the same about people who take photographs of buildings, plants, animals and so on, because - in a way - they didn't create them. There are a lot of other deviations here where the case is the same.
