Description It seems throughout the years
We believed we had something special
That our friendship would be the one
To shatter all the records

Through laughter, tears, pain, and love
Our bond never faltered
Leaning on one another for support
Never tiring of each other’s company

But then the seasons changed
The pressure became too much
I cracked. You endured
Now nothing is the same

We don’t talk anymore
I’ve been replaced
Ignored, pushed aside
I don’t fit in anymore

Is it our time to say goodbye?
Must this friendship really die?
Can time heal our many wounds?
Do you miss me the way I miss you?

Today I cried a thousand tears
For my life hit a bump in the road
And when I realized you weren’t there
I cried a thousand more

I can blame fate, bad karma, or even you
But the fact is I’m drifting
For now all I can do
Is hope one day I’ll drift
Back to you
