After 12 years my dragonsona finally gets a reference sheet XD
I remember taking design inspiration from the legendary Pokémon Lugia because he was always my favorite legendary, to create Demo. One day she just popped in my head out of nowhere, and has stuck with me ever since, never changing in design or meaning <3

She means a lot to me because she represents my breaking point - the ferocity I have in my heart that everyone has. She's the adrenaline rush you get when you feel unstoppable, when you're exploding with rage so much you almost feel like a killer, the protective instinct you get when you see someone or something defenseless and getting hurt, that's what Demolisher is.
That's why her horns and wings are artist interpretation; two powerful characteristics of dragons that you can design based on what your heart's fire is/feels like to you. Whether it be big, beautiful, and majestic, small, soft, and weak, or scary, gruesome, and macabre, her wings and horns are up to you!

Believe it or not her name isn't related to the above mentioned stuff; "Demolisher" comes from me stealing my friend's gamer tag/name on Nintendo DS That was YEARS ago and he didn't care so I kept it XD I used 'Demolisher' as my name on all my Nintendo DS systems and still do to this day, and I even renamed my Nintendo Mii character to Demolisher, which later ended up becoming Tenite. Demolisher became her own entity when I had trouble renaming the dragonsona in my mind to 'Tenite' (despite the two being the same character in a way), and that's when I realized what Demolisher meant to me. I had poured everything about me into Tenite except the fire in my heart, because that had already been given to the dragon. It just so happened that her name was already fitting, so I decided not to merge her and Tenite and just leave them as separate, because a fearsome ferocious demeanor isn't who I am normally XD

That being said, Demolisher and Tenite are exactly alike, so Demo isn't all raging angry fire who will kill you if you look at her wrong, no XD That only comes out upon pushing her to that point - like everyone and their breaking point. Tenite can turn into Demolisher when pushed to her breaking point as well, or summon her.

Things like powers, ehhh I'm leaving that to interpretation as well. Demolisher isn't an open character who represents everyone on the planet, but she a character I want to make relatable by leaving the powerful characteristics and traits to artistic freedom. I do remember giving her venom that is injected through her fangs and front claws via a tube that runs from the venom glands in her mouth down to her claws, and she does breathe fire of course, but any power you think is cool and want to draw her with is also cool so she is a blank canvas on that as well XD

Fun facts: Demolisher will let you use her tail as a neck pillow, let you sleep on her, let you ride on her back, fly with you, protect you, and be your friend XD

She's also a character I take out my vent arts out on the most, because she's the part of me that's the strongest to take the beatings.
