So my friends introduced me to the game Final Fantasy 14. I was doubtful at first, having never played an MMO-RPG before. But after much teasing and many, many beautiful screenshots later, I finally bit the bullet and downloaded the game.
I can now safely say I'm in DEEP. Obsessed! Suffering from constant ffxiv brainrot. I fucking love this game so much omg
So here's a reference sheet for my own Warrior of Light, Cassian Windrose!! Yes I went catboy, yes I'm basic don't judge me. I love this dumbass so much, he's very quickly become very special to me so expect to see a lot more art of him as I make my way through the game!

Likes: Fighting, hunting, traveling and adventuring, riding on his mounts, chocobos, helping people, others praising him, people relying on him/trusting him (to an extent), winning, taking pictures
Dislikes: being thrown into high pressure situations, arrogant people, ill-intended violence and unnecessary bloodshed (in terms of war or pointless killing), being called some variation of "shorty", losing, disappointing others
Fears: not being the hero Eorzea needs him to be, dying a worthless death and no one remembering him, not making an impact, people dying because of him/for his sake, finally cracking under the pressure and ending up hurting people, people discovering his bravery is a facade and seeing the terrified kid beneath

WILL pick fights with things/people thrice his size and clearly stronger than him. WILL make a show of challenging them, only to get his ass kicked. Can and WILL try again regardless. Ends up beaten and bloody as a result. NO, he does not learn his lesson.
Perpetually smells like a cat. It's not a bad smell by any means, it's just his natural scent and he can't get rid of it, no matter how much he showers. His friends make fun of him for it all the time, much to his annoyance
Hates the bloodshed and hardships that come with war and the like. He loves fighting, but when violence becomes "bad guy brutally hurting/killing people", he draws the line and seeks to stop it.
Though this dislike is eventually subverted once Cassian becomes increasingly more tired/pissed off/done with the world’s bullshit
Has the shittiest handwriting you've ever seen
It is unknown whether he can actually read or write. Aside from signing his name, no one has ever seen him write anything, much less pick up a book.
Tries to act cool, is actually a clumsy dork
Is sensitive about his height, don't mention he's short unless you want to die
FERAL, FERAL, FERAL FUCKING CAT
If something triggers him, he can and will go absolutely ballistic and fight/act like a feral animal. It's essentially a "berserker mode" and he's capable of an insane amount of damage. It's frankly terrifying to anyone who witnesses it.
Yells. A lot.
Cassian has two prime weaknesses: one, scratch him behind the ears. He will melt and turn into a purring puddle. Two, (if you're tall/strong enough) pick him up under the arms like a misbehaved cat and lift him off the ground. He may or many not scratch your face off afterward, but he's effectively immobilized and incredibly flustered for the moment
Over the course of his adventures, he develops a lot of insecurities, fears, doubts, resentments, and other violent and negative emotions. As the stress of being a warrior of light gets to him, Cassian puts up a facade of the brave warrior Eorzea needs. But he's keeping a lot under lock and key, and fears the day he eventually explodes, since he believes that once he shows his true colors he’ll lose everyone's trust and support.
In little moments, he lets his pent up stress and rage out, though quickly regrets it and tries to compose himself as fast as possible.
Very few people notice this dark undertone since he hides it so well. He's a good actor.
Has no qualms with getting dirty; be it getting covered in blood and guts from fighting, running through dirt and dust, or getting covered in mud. (Combine that with the cat musk, and maybe that’s why his friends make fun of him for being a “stinky Miqo’te”)
A fucking (terrible) flirt. He thinks he’s smooth and suave, but anyone who’s ever suffered from his pickup tactics begs to differ
Has no real “type”, he’s the embodiment of “all women/men are QUEENS/KINGS”
Is very protective of the people he loves
Will probably live long enough to become the villain
Wants to go positively apeshit 99% of the time
Will let you braid his hair and tail or put flowers and beads in it
