Just a quickie, two trees modelled as game assets. Trunk and major branches generated in Arbaro, minor branches modelled, textured and placed in Blender and then imported to Unreal Engine 4 for rendering and testing! Both meshes contain a custom collision mesh for UE4. Both trunks has 1024x diffuse map, branches has 512x diffuse maps and 256x alpha maps (birch also has 256x specularity map).Comments and critique are welcome, as always!
*EDIT* After some searching, I found a way to edit vertex normals in Blender, which resulted in drastically better results with leaves esp on birch (no more black back faces etc.). I found the build from here: www.graphicall.org/1125 and you should check it out if you are interested in making game-asset foliage, because so far it has provided to be really really handy! Let's just hope that it makes into the official build soon...
