This is the spawn of a brilliantly senseless conversation I had with someone.
"You know, all my talk of truth and justice aside, I'd like to be a supervillain for a little bit."
"Why?"
"Because just once I'd like to threaten the world with my ultimate weapon - the Shark Ray."
"The Shark Ray."
"The Shark Ray. "People of Earth! Give me a lot of lots of money, or I shall unleash my deadly Shark Ray!' Imagine it. A pinpoint-accurate cannon, mounted on an artificial comet, able to fire directly at any point on Earth, capable of targeting even a single person, even a single body part! You're just wandering along, minding your own business, and PEW PEW! Someone shoots a great white into your eye! And you're like, 'GODDAMN, A GREAT WHITE SHARK JUST HIT ME IN THE EYE!! WHO DID THAT?!'"
You have to admit, if you plan on threatening the entire world, shooting people in the eye with sharks is a pretty bold threat.
In case I ever decide to patent it, I should mention that the Shark Ray concept belongs to me and I have a patent-pending-pending. I mean it. Don't mess with me.
