Description
After getting decently enough into the forest that no one would likely notice he takes a hard turn away from the path, heading deep into the forest. He needs to find a place where there is very little chance of anyone casually finding his stuff and once transformed it isn’t like he’ll be able to move it all. In all honesty it’s been a rough few months. His confidence has been completely shot, and knowing what it is like from a pokemon’s perspective makes him all the more reluctant to just attack them. He’s half tempted to just retire even though he has yet to get a single badge. Only reason he hasn’t is that it would make these trips to the forest every full moon extremely suspicious. So he’s been mainly going through the motions, trying not to get caught and otherwise just trying to go on with his life.

Finding a clearing about a mile away from the path he sets down his backpack, already starting to feel the moon’s presence asking for him to look at it. Being a trainer just isn’t fun for him anymore. If anything he actually looks forward to the full moon, where he can simply shed the responsibilities weighing him down for a few hours at a time.
