“No, of course not!” He quickly stammers.

“Then perhaps I’m your pet? Or maybe your prisoner? Maybe I should just give you one of my empty pokeballs so that you can catch me and keep me safe that way!”

“Why would you say such things?”

“Because that is how you act! You don’t want me interacting with anything or anyone!”

“That’s not true!”

“Tell me one time in the past three months where you let me have a single conversation with any pokemon without you threatening them or attacking them. One time.”

“I’m just trying to protect you.”

“You’re coddling me. Trying to keep me in a bubble just so that you can have him back come morning. And what happens when you encounter something you can’t protect me against?
